| 1. | What is Melamine? |
| | Melamine is what most people think of as particle board. As in many things there are many quality levels with melamine and many of us have been exposed to the cheaper variety. If you use a good quality melamine like Creative Closets it wears well and is very strong.

| 2. | What materials can be used to make a closet? |
| | There are three catagories of materials. There is melamine, what is commonly refered to as particle board; there is MDF (medium density fiberboard) which is a particle board but has smaller fibers and is much more densely packed, excellent for painting or for routering into a shape and; there is wood. All the wood that is used in cabinet making is a plywood with a veneer of the species of wood on the exterior (i.e. oak, cherry, maple) |

| 3. | Why is it better to have my closet resting on the floor? |
| | Simply stated, strength. Wall mounting is fine but there is no substitute for the strength of it being on the floor. |

| 4. | Why are oval hanging rods better that round? |
| | Oval hanging rods will not sag over time, round rods do. |

| 5. | Can you use wood and melamin in the same cabinet? |
| | Yes. Most commonly this is done with the doors being wood and the cabinet structure being melamine. This is a great way to achieve the look of wood without paying a lot of money. |

| | Yes. The full extention slides are the strongest and the most useable. |

| 7. | Can I install my closet myself? |
| | Yes you can. There are some basic tools that you will need to perform that task but it will save you money. We provide you with a detailed list of instructions to do it yourself but most have Creative Closets do it for them. |

| 8. | Are you willing to ship outside of the Vancouver area? |
| | Yes. We have shipped a number of units for people living outside of the lower mainland. Shipping is usually done by weight and our units can be quite heavy so you may want to check on the shipping costs before ordering. |

| | We do sliding and bi-fold doors for closet door openings. |
